Position Overview
The Program Supervisor – Health Services plays a key leadership role in supporting the health and well-being of the children and families we serve. This position is responsible for the planning, supervision, and evaluation of daily health services operations across multiple levels of care.
This role operates in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines, meetings, and interruptions, requiring strong leadership, organization, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
Program Operations & Leadership
Plan, supervise, and evaluate daily health services operations
Coordinate health services for residential, day treatment, and outpatient clients
Support the Health Services Manager with administrative and operational duties
Serve as an integral member of Trillium’s interdisciplinary treatment team, helping ensure each child’s health needs are effectively addressed
Staff Supervision & Development
Provide direct supervision, orientation, training, scheduling, and evaluation of assigned staff
Conduct individual and group supervision and maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Support staff in developing clinical and operational competencies
Implement progressive discipline, up to and including termination, when necessary
Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture
Training & Administration
Train staff on agency protocols, job duties, and healthcare procedures
Facilitate agency trainings as appropriate
Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative responsibilities
Physician Support & Coordination
Oversee physician scheduling to ensure compliance with insurance and service requirements
Support contracted physicians and assist with onboarding new providers and Psychiatry Fellows
Coordinate peer-to-peer insurance/utilization reviews
Partner with the Regional Medical Director to manage provider schedules and coverage
Maintain accurate records and reports to support billing and reimbursement
Emergency & Operational Support
Assist with emergency response procedures, including documentation and coordination with emergency services
Provide support to the department during urgent or high-need situations
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned staff
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring recommendations
Address employee concerns and support resolution of grievances
Administer disciplinary actions and conduct performance evaluations
Manage staff schedules, coverage, overtime, and time-off requests

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Business, Medical field, or related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
At least 1 year of supervisory experience required
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Personal auto insurance (if using a personal vehicle for agency business)
