Overview
We're looking for a Program Manager to help lead day-to-day operations across our behavioral health outpatient programs. You'll work closely with our clinical and leadership team, directly support staff, and help ensure clients are receiving quality care. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and real room to grow — as Wellspring grows, so does the opportunity for the people who help build it.
Duties
- Conduct mental health and substance use screenings and assessments to determine client treatment needs
- Diagnose mental health and substance use conditions using the current DSM framework
- Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, centered on their strengths
- Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, families, and groups addressing both mental health and substance use
- Apply evidence-based practices in all direct care, including approaches specific to co-occurring disorders
- Collaborate with client supports including family members and partner agencies
- Represent Wellspring in the broader community
- Oversee daily program operations across outpatient and support service areas
- Supervise and support clinical and program staff, including scheduling and coverage
- Ensure services meet OAR compliance standards and organizational quality expectations
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Medical Director on care coordination
- Monitor documentation, billing workflows, and program performance
- Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing development
- Serve as a key point of contact for external partners and referral sources
- Contribute to policy development and program improvement efforts
Required:
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or related field
- CADC certification (or eligibility within 6 months)
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders
Preferred:
- LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure
- 2 years of supervisory or program management experience in a behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with Oregon Medicaid systems and OAR compliance
- Experience in a culturally specific or equity-focused organization
Pay: $31.00 - $50.00 per hour
