Summary Of Essential Job Functions
- Process Purchase Requisitions daily by reviewing incoming requests, working with requesters to resolve any issues, routing requisitions for required approvals, and assigning them to a buyer once approved.
- Lead the supplier expedite request process, working closely with planning, procurement teammates, and suppliers to obtain rapid responses.
- Complete new supplier assessments in a timely manner by reviewing incoming new supplier requests, working with requesters to address any issues, routing requests for required assessments and approvals, and working with the accounting team for Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system entry once approved.
- Manage the supplier RMA process, working with procurement and quality personnel to ensure accurate and timely supplier dispositions.
- Monitor workflows for the approval of purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure timely completion.
- Generate and distribute supplier open order reports, monitor supplier responses, and ensure that results are communicated to planning and procurement and updated in affected purchase orders.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they meet Trillium Engineering's requirements and expectations regarding order confirmations, open order reporting, and the accuracy of pack lists, certificates of conformance, and invoices submitted to Trillium Engineering.
- Collaborate with the materials team to execute the purchase of production kanban materials.
- Generate and publish supplier metrics and scorecards at assigned intervals.
- Perform all procurement activities in compliance with Trillium Engineering’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct as well as any applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.
- Support the procurement team members during personal time off, business travel, and periods of peak demand.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Experience working in ERP and related systems. NetSuite, preferred.
- Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
