As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate service records, managing work order processes, and handling warranty claims, all while providing excellent support to our customers and technicians.

The Service Advisor ensures timely and accurate processing of work orders, warranty claims, and service records while supporting the overall efficiency and profitability of the Service Department. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction through organized communication and reliable service processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent TriGreen Equipment professionally at all times through proper appearance, behavior, and communication, in line with company policies.
- Open and manage work orders under the direction of the Service Manager or Shop Foreman, ensuring all details are tracked until closed and invoiced.
- Process warranty and product improvement claims, including calculating charges, submitting paperwork, and performing follow-ups to ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Maintain an up-to-date service library, including bulletins, manuals, videos, and other reference materials.
- Organize and manage service department records and filings efficiently.
- Update customer profiles using data collected from work orders such as equipment hours and maintenance history.
- Maintain inventory of service accessories and shop supplies; prepare purchase requests for managerial approval.
- Collect payments from customers prior to releasing serviced equipment.
- Support technicians in locating parts and supplies during the service process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager or other supervisors.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Thorough knowledge of service department operations and accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with office administration practices and filing systems.
- General understanding of mechanical and technical terminology related to equipment service.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with service software, Microsoft Office, and database entry.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must be physically capable of lifting at least 75 pounds and performing physical tasks including bending, squatting, standing, and prolonged sitting.
