Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized shipping and receiving assistant. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting overall order fulfillment processes.
Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and tagging them accurately.
- Operate forklifts & company truck.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving processes.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling equipment and materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is encouraged but not required.
- Ability to operate forklifts & company truck.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
