Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Med/Surg-Full Time Night Position

JOB SUMMARY: Performs designated tasks for patients designated by the RN in charge of patient care. Tasks may include feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning, ambulating, and transporting. May perform basic monitoring to include temperature, pulse, respiration, B/P, and I&O. Attends to patient's comfort and keeps nurse in charge of patient care informed of patient's needs and/or changes in condition. Tasks are performed in accordance to hospital and nursing policies and procedures as well as legal compliance policies.

QUALIFICATIONS: CNA certification and BLS required.

REPORTS TO: Nursing Unit Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, Chief Nursing Officer
