THE ROLE CONTRACT
Own: Complete assigned post-harvest work safely and record it while the work is happening.
Escalate: Stop and report a wrong tag, failed check, unsafe condition, contamination risk, or unexplained weight difference.
Done means: The material, label, weight, waste, status, and next location agree in the ERP and on the floor.
WHAT YOU OWN
Run the work
- Follow the assigned MES work order for drying, bucking, trimming, packaging, and labeling.
- Confirm the crop, harvest, package, item, and room before each move or weight.
- Use approved tools, scales, PPE, sanitation, and line-clearance steps.
- Protect material from mix-ups, damage, contamination, and unauthorized access.
Close the record
- Enter weights, yield, waste, status, and completion at the point of work.
- Check product condition, package integrity, and label accuracy before release.
- Log the issue before affected material moves; use hold or quarantine steps when directed.
- Clean the station, return materials, and leave a clear handoff for the next person.
HOW PERFORMANCE IS JUDGED
Work complete: Assigned work orders close by the due time or show an early, specific blocker.
Record complete: Every weight, waste entry, status, and material move is logged in the same shift.
Traceability: The physical material and ERP identifiers agree at every handoff.
First-pass quality: Released work passes condition, package, and label checks without avoidable rework.
Safe escalation: Suspect material and unsafe work stop before the problem travels downstream.
