Day shift 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Job Summary: The Assembler 1 is an entry-level manufacturing position requiring no prior experience, designed for individuals looking to start a career in production. Working under close supervision, this role involves physically folding mats, boxing and palletizing finished products, and preparing posts by applying decals and punching holes. This fast-paced, repetitive position requires strong attention to detail, and compliance to OSHA & Trident Solutions safety regulations.
Assembler 1 Responsibilities:
- Folding different sized mats
- Boxing and palletizing mats
- Applying correct decals on different shaped posts
- Punching out holes in different shaped tubes
Key Competencies:
- Standing for 8/ hours.
- Rotate positions in each department during your shift as scheduled.
- Flexible to move between jobs and departments that might need more help in another area.
- Performing all job functions in a safe manner, following, and enforcing all TRIDENT policies and procedures.
- Leading housekeeping efforts and always maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Identifying and immediately communicating personnel and safety issues to the Shift Supervisor and assisting with investigations and resolutions of the issues if needed.
- Communicating and working with Material Handlers to ensure an appropriate quantity and quality of raw materials is delivered to the lines as needed.
- Performing quality checks on material, comparing actual results to specifications, and communicating results in a timely manner.
- Accurate and complete reporting of production and quality data both manually and in computer systems.
- Reporting any continuous improvement opportunities to the Shift Supervisor.

- Manufacturing background.
- Assembly line knowledge and experience.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- Possesses good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shift, and report on time for scheduled shifts and follow company attendance policies.
- Possesses strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possesses basic knowledge in math, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Understands production rates and production schedules.
- Ability to balance and achieve results in the areas of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Reduction.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision and maintain a working and up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
- Must be able to handle self in a professional manner with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to take responsibility for self and team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to continually bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulder, use arms, wrists, grasp and squeeze with hands, access constricted spaces, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
