Position Summary
The Security Shift Supervisor oversees and coordinates security operations during a specific shift. This role acts as a liaison between Security Specialists and Security Leads, providing supervision, coaching, recognition, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all active posts, including temporary or ad-hoc posts, are covered during your shift, including filling vacancies when necessary
- Oversee workflow, schedules, and assignments for Security Specialists across multiple locations
- Inspect every active post and Security Specialist weekly for compliance and quality, including:
- Health and safety
- Customer requirements
- TRIDENT standards
- Uniform and appearance
- Updated post orders
- Receive, document, and escalate Security Specialist questions and concerns
- Provide documented field training for new and existing Security Specialists
- Ensure every Security Specialist is visited at least twice per shift
- Answer calls, take messages, and escalate issues as needed
- Respond to and report all emergencies
- Write reports of daily activities, incidents, equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- May drive a company/client vehicle between sites

- Reports to: Security Lead
- Classification: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
