Position Summary

TRIDENT is hiring a Morning Security Officer to provide professional protection and safety coverage at assigned locations in Cupertino, CA. This early-morning opportunity is well-suited to a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured environments and takes pride in building a safe, orderly setting right from the start of the day. Role Responsibilities:

• Partner with a team of Security Specialists to protect customers and employees in retail settings
• Carry out foot patrols across assigned areas to sustain visible presence and deter incidents
• Watch for, document, and react to abnormal or unsafe conditions on the property
• Investigate and prepare reports on security incidents, accidents, and identified maintenance issues
• Answer calls for assistance from supervisors or client representatives
• Support client staff during evacuations, emergencies, or hazardous conditions
• Help manage crowd control scenarios and coordinate with emergency services when needed
• Verify employee identification at client access points
• Enforce parking regulations and assist in resolving vehicle-related incidents or disagreements
• Proactively greet and support customers and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, or AED care (if certified)
• Conduct exterior inspections to confirm doors, gates, and windows are properly secured
• Attend daily shift briefings and relay site updates to fellow team members
• Complete mobile patrols between retail sites as directed
• Keep all assigned company equipment in strong working condition
• Produce thorough, accurate written reports as required
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by TRIDENT management

Background & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous security experience is preferred

Required Credentials:

• Valid California Driver's License
• Valid BSIS Guard Card

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• May be called upon to operate a company vehicle between client locations
• Role spans multiple retail sites
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors across varying weather conditions
• Involves frequent walking and standing with occasional extended periods of sitting
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

Classification & Reporting:

The Security Specialist is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role reporting directly to the Field Supervisor.
