Pool Maintenance Technician
We continue to grow and are seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal person for this position enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can operate independently with minimal oversight.
Seasonal with Opportunity for Year-Round Work:
This position offers full-time hours during the busy summer season, with the potential for continued or year-round work for the right candidate as our company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results:
- Clean and maintain swimming pools by vacuuming, skimming, cleaning scum gutters and baskets, and hand cleaning tile
- Maintain proper pool chemistry; test and balance pH, chlorine, total chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid levels
- Operate and maintain filters, chlorinators, pool heaters, and other pool equipment
- Identify equipment pad issues and report them through the company portal
- Conduct daily inspections of the pool deck including handrails, safety equipment, and pump rooms; note any issues or service requests
- Assist in maintaining inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials
- Follow a predetermined schedule of preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Perform pool and spa openings and closings for the season
- Safety cover installations
- Replacement liner installations
- Demonstrate basic pool equipment knowledge
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED and/or vocational training
- Two years of pool maintenance experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Pay
$18–$24 per hour, depending on experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
