Position Overview:
We are seeking an honest, skilled and reliable Exterior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on performing a variety of exterior repair and maintenance tasks on residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior repairs including siding repair and replacement
- Take accurate measurements for job estimates
- Clean, repair, and replace gutters and downspouts
- Replace wood trim with PVC trim windows/doors
- Complete soffit and fascia repairs/replacmenet
- Apply caulking to trim and exterior surfaces
- Install and repair fence sections
- Safely use ladders up to two stories
- Pick up and transport materials, supplies and old material as needed
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Ability to read, write and comprehend tasks and explain work performed effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in exterior maintenance or construction
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques
- Ability to safely work at 2-story heights using ladders
- Must have your own truck, ladders, and necessary tools to complete the job
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must present a professional appearance and wear company-branded apparel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with siding, trim work, soffit/fascia, fencing and gutter/downspouts
- Basic estimating or measurement experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to provide quality work
- Ability to problem solve under pressure.
