We are currently seeking CNC Machinists to join our Rhinelander, WI Team!
In this role, you will perform set up and machining of large complex weldments in 3- to 5- Axis on a Heidenhain TNC-7 control system with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Independently setup intricate parts and fixturing
- Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
- Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
- Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials
- Overhead Crane operation and rigging
- Setup tooling using machine setup documentation
- Maintain equipment and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a strong machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis
- Machining knowledge in a manufacturing industry preferred
- Completion of Machining program is a plus
- Heidenhain TNC-7 controls system experience preferred
- Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading and math skills is a plus
- Worked with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys a plus
- Experience working with large complex weldments (up to 90’) is preferred
- Experience setting up quality gauging preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
- Long periods of standing.
