We’re hiring for a “Automation Quality Engineer” role in “Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)” with one of our industry-leading clients. This is a long-term opportunity, with competitive pay, and the team is actively scheduling interviews.
Role: Automation Quality Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: W2 Contract
Rate: $40 - 45/hour
Job Description:
- Execute manual and automated tests.
- Investigate test failures in CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide root cause analysis, propose solutions, and fixes.
- Proactive communication.
- Designing and automating new tests.
- Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution.
- Regular interaction with teams located in different geographical regions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional work experience as a Software Development Engineer or Software Quality Engineer
- Experience with programming/test automation in Swift, Python, Java or other Programming Languages
- Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
- Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English Ideal Requirements:
- Familiar with Apple OS platforms, debugging or profiling tools
- Proven ability to analyze and find root causes in multi-tiered, client-server environments
- Testing server backend services at the API or protocol level
- Able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Curious and proactive. Loves to learn and explore.
- Excellent trouble-shooting and debugging skills
- Previous experience working with LLM's & Virtual Assistants is a plus
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
