Hiring: Senior Algorithm Engineer (Computer Vision)
Location: Burlington, MA
Job Type: Contract – W2
Pay Rate: Up to $70/hr on W2
We are looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer with strong expertise in Computer Vision and Image Processing for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading ophthalmic technology client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate computer vision algorithms for eye tracking and iris registration
- Design solutions using classical computer vision and machine learning techniques
- Perform algorithm benchmarking, robustness analysis, and failure mode analysis
- Work with real-world imaging datasets for validation and ground-truth assessment
- Develop research-grade prototypes primarily using Python
- Collaborate closely with Applied Research and Software Engineering teams
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in Computer Vision / Image Processing
- Strong experience with tracking, registration, object detection, or segmentation
- Expertise in Python for algorithm development
- Strong analytical and statistical evaluation skills
- Experience with real-world imaging challenges and robustness optimization
Education:
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
