Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Round Rock, TX
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 Months (Extension possible)
Interview Process: 2 Rounds (1st Virtual, 2nd On-site)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Technician to support labeling and packaging operations for reference standard solutions and material aliquots. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely production of catalog and custom products within a life sciences environment.
- The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to follow structured processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform labeling, relabeling, and packaging of reference standard solutions and neat material aliquots
- Execute packaging projects as per defined procedures and documentation
- Initiate and maintain batch records, forms, and documentation for packaging activities
- Review all batch records and forms to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to execution
- Ensure all packaging activities meet production goals and timelines
- Monitor project progress and communicate any delays or issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety policies, and good housekeeping practices
- Support both catalog and custom product packaging requirements
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (minimum required)
- Associate’s Degree (preferred)
- Prior experience in the Life Sciences or related industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate records
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in packaging, labeling, or production environments
- Familiarity with batch records and documentation in regulated industries
- Knowledge of quality and safety compliance standards
