Job Title: Microbiology Laboratory Technician
Location: St. Louis, MO - onsite
Pay Rate Target: $26/hr –30/hr on w2
Experience: 1–3 years
Education: BS/BA in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related Life Sciences
Environment: BSL-II lab / food safety microbiology
Schedule Flexibility Required:
Standard 8am–5pm
Some days starting as early as 6am
Long experiments up to 10 hours
Core Skills:
- Food microbiology
- Bacterial pathogen handling
- Aseptic technique
- PCR (preferred)
- Culture prep and propagation
- Pathogen detection
- Documentation practices

Strong-fit candidate profile:
- Academic or industry microbiology lab experience
- Experience with pathogenic organisms
- Comfortable in regulated lab environments
- Hands-on PCR and microbial culture work
- Good troubleshooting and documentation skills
