Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Gas/chemical)

Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Pay rate: $28/hr-$31/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

Type of Hire: Contract

Duration : 12 Months

Position Overview

Our Client has an opening for a Gas and Chemical Megasys Technician responsible for supporting the technical demands of site gas and/or chemical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support site gas and/or chemical equipment
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems
• Perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, safety, and flawless execution
• Support over 500 pieces of distribution equipment across various types and vendors
• Drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture
• Participate in Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventive maintenance, and training
• Support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of gas systems, precursor delivery systems, and bulk chemical distribution systems

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
• Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained

Additional Requirements

• Experience with chemicals and/or gas in a manufacturing environment (MANDATORY)
• Random drug testing (including THC)

Onboarding & Clearance to Start

• Completed onboarding form and signed NDA
• Physical including Qualitative Fit Test (submit results for clearance)
• Respirator Fit Test during orientation
• All workers start on Mondays

• Must be eligible to work in the US
