About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Customer Service Representative to support commercial operations at Madison, WI. This is an entry-level role focused on order management, customer support, and administrative processing within a fast-paced biotech environment.
You will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, handling inquiries, and supporting shipping, invoicing, and ERP-based transactions. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders via phone, email, EDI, and web using ERP systems (e.g., Business Central)
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide order status updates
- Contact customers for order clarification and issue resolution
- Generate lot numbers and pick lists for shipping support
- Prepare and send invoices (email and mail) for daily orders
- Maintain accurate order records and documentation
- File departmental documents and maintain records
- Process credit card payments in ERP system
- Manage EDI transactions including purchase orders and required documentation
- Process sample requests
- Post invoices and close out daily business activities
- Support internal departments with order-related coordination
- Attend meetings as required
- Complete Quality Management System (QMS) training and tasks
- Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned
- Follow company policies and employee handbook guidelines

Qualifications

- No prior experience required (entry-level role)
