Trident Consulting is currently seeking an ”AMI 2.0 Telecom Program Manager" for one of our clients in "Rosemead, CA(Hybrid)". A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: AMI 2.0 Telecom Program Manager

Location: Rosemead, CA(Hybrid)

Type: W2 Contract

Required Skill

• 10 years of project/program management experience in telecommunications, wireless networking, data/network services, or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong experience managing end-to-end delivery of telecom and network communication solutions.
• Deep knowledge of cellular (LTE/5G), 3GPP wireless technologies, mesh networks, FAN, WAN/backhaul, and IoT communications.
• Experience supporting AMI 1.0/AMI 2.0, Smart Grid, utility telecommunications, or network infrastructure programs.
• Proven ability to facilitate complex technical architecture discussions and drive technical decision-making.
• Experience working with Tier-1 wireless carriers and carrier service providers.
• Strong understanding of network communications architecture, carrier interconnections, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, system integrators, vendors, and external partners.
• Hands-on experience with vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, solution assessments, and vendor selection.
• Strong requirements management experience, including traceability and validation across design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Knowledge of telecommunications security, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, field operations, PMO, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical, operational, financial, and risk considerations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
• Experience with MDMS, HES, ADMS, SAP, Cloud platforms, or related utility technology ecosystems is preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certifications are highly preferred.
