This role will focus on improving employee adoption of technology by developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs that support productivity and effective use of business applications. The Sr. Technical Trainer partners with IT teams, project stakeholders, and support groups to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Model and promote best practices in information security.
- Research new and existing technologies to stay current with organizational tools and strategies.
- Build partnerships across the company to identify training needs and close knowledge gaps.
- Develop training resources, including guides, tutorials, presentations, and assessments, in multiple formats.
- Lead live training sessions both on-site and virtual for individuals and groups.
- Maintain and update training content based on user feedback, system updates, and stakeholder input.
- Manage training schedules and communicate them to end users and project teams.
- Support new project initiatives through needs analysis and training integration.
- Translate complex technical processes into clear, accessible resources for non-technical audiences.
- Track training engagement and effectiveness using data and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate vendor-led training sessions for employees.
- 5 years of experience designing and delivering technical training programs.
- 2 years of experience with content authoring tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel up to 20% annually.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development, IT, or related field
- APTD or CPTD certification.
