What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Automation Engineer – Playwright position at TriCom Technical Services?
Summary
We are a large QA team embedded within a long-standing enterprise engagement, looking to backfill an automation seat with a strong Playwright Engineer. We recently moved from Selenium to Playwright to shorten our feedback loop, cutting test suite execution time from hours to minutes. We need someone who is genuinely passionate about quality engineering and can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate is curious, driven, and never fully satisfied with "good enough”. They can write a clean test case under pressure, pick the right selector or locator without overthinking, and bring energy to the work. We are not looking for someone who tolerates this job; the team is looking for someone who is excited by it. If you are a sharp, passionate QA automation engineer with strong Playwright chops and a drive to improve continuously, the team wants to talk with you!
