Our client is seeking a Project Manager to help manage a global finance and accounting modernization project sponsored by finance and accounting teams to modernize technology, consolidate the ledger, and improve processes for global scalability. This role will lead implementation efforts for Canada and the US, working closely with the existing UK-based PM who has led global planning and other regional implementations.
Responsibilities.
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to help manage a global finance and accounting modernization project sponsored by finance and accounting teams to modernize technology, consolidate the ledger, and improve processes for global scalability. This role will lead implementation efforts for Canada and the US, working closely with the existing UK-based PM who has led global planning and other regional implementations.
Responsibilities.
- Lead implementation efforts for Canada and the US from discovery (April 2026) through implementation (December 2027).
- Collaborate closely with UK-based PM and global teams across regions.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications for North American implementations.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure successful technology modernization and process improvements.
- Potentially lead implementation efforts for additional global regions after the US and Canada completion.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading complex, global projects.
- Experience with Oracle implementation projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across global teams and time zones.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Local to Kansas City with the ability to work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days in the office Tu-Th).
- Flexibility to accommodate early morning meetings with the UK team.
- Experience working with Finance and Accounting technology modernization initiatives.
- Experience managing projects in regulated or enterprise environments.
