- Location – onsite initially (Topeka, KS) for the first month, then remote.
- First 90 days – Current-state processes documented; key gaps and inefficiencies identified.
- 6 months – Clear, actionable recommendations delivered and socialized; improved clarity and consistency in procurement-related workflows.
- Beyond – Sustainable process improvements in place, with improved execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead a process improvement initiative to assess and streamline IT-related procurement workflows, clarifying ownership between IT and Procurement.
- Document current-state processes and develop practical recommendations for the future state.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions across IT, Procurement, and Enterprise Planning to improve clarity, accountability, and execution.
- Drive additional project work as needed, maintaining clear communication and concise documentation.
- 5 years of project management experience including process improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading projects in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, IT asset management, and software licensing.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Workday.
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully across teams and navigate organizational sensitivities with empathy and professionalism.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset.
