We are seeking a Level-1 Support Technician to provide immediate help desk support for a healthcare organization experiencing high ticket volumes. This position will directly support healthcare practices and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinical operations during a period of organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Level-1 technical support for end users.
- Troubleshoot peripheral devices (printers, scanners, cameras, etc.).
- Perform password resets and provide general account access support.
- Complete employee onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Create and modify basic Active Directory user accounts.
- Manage, triage, and resolve tickets using Avanti ITSM.
- Conduct on-site visits (if local) to address hardware issues, equipment replacement, and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with Level -2 engineers and the IT to support ongoing operational stability.
- 1 years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Strong basic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with end-user support.
- Peripheral troubleshooting experience (printers, scanners, cameras).
- Password reset and account management experience.
- Ability to create users in Active Directory.
- Personal vehicle for local travel (if based near Fort Wayne or Akron).
- Experience with Avanti ITSM.
- Previous healthcare IT experience.
