What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Password Vault Engineer position at TriCom Technical Services?
Responsibilities
- Leverage a wide range of security technologies, including but not limited to logical access controls, identity and access management, directories (AD, LDAP, etc.), security incident response, privileged access management, database and system monitoring, end-user password management, and single-sign-on systems.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding the direction of systems and applications to help secure access, data, and assets.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to customer requests for services and support.
- Troubleshoot encryption (SSL/TLS), Web traffic, and packet analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and implement standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Review work processes to identify, design, and implement efficiencies and information security improvements.
- Assume a subject-matter-expert role in privileged identity management services and technologies.
- Edit and/or create application system documentation (e.g., processes, procedures, system flow diagrams) for the supported product.
- Participate in on-call support (required) on a rotating basis, which may require additional work outside normal business hours.
- 3 years of experience working on an enterprise-level, vault system support team and/or managing an enterprise vault system.
- An intermediate understanding of privileged access management and an enterprise credential vault application.
- Experience leveraging a wide range of security technologies, including but not limited to logical access controls, identity and access management, directories (AD, LDAP, etc.), security incident response, privileged access management, database and system monitoring, end-user password management, and single sign-on systems.
- Ability to provide on-call support on a rotating basis, including additional work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
