Key Activities:
- Installs, updates, maintains, monitors, and tests the operation of systems and applications, including, but not limited to, server back-up support, vulnerability management, change/problem management, and/or asset management.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding direction of systems and applications to help secure access, data and assets.
- Provide accurate and timely response to customer requests for services and support • Leverage a wide range of security technologies including, but not limited to:
- Logical access controls o Identity and access management o Directories (AD, LDAP, etc.)
- Security Incident Response o Privileged Access Management
- Database and System Monitoring o End-user Password Management
- Single-Sign on Systems
- Understand and troubleshoot encryption (SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and implement standard operating guidelines and procedures.
- Review work processes to identify, design, and implement efficiency and information security improvements. Assume subject matter expert role for privileged identity management services and technologies.
- May partner with other IT teams and/or vendors to resolve incidents.
- Evaluates, recommends, and/or implements new hardware and software products to business areas/customers to improve efficiency, reliability, or to provide new services.
- May perform procurement activities.
- Reviews and/or create application system documentation (e.g., processes, procedures, system flow diagrams) for supported product.
- Participates in District and/or System projects and/or workgroups.
- On-call support required on a rotating basis, which might necessitate additional work outside of normal business hours.
- Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing an Enterprise Vault system.
- Associate’s degree in information technology or a closely related field from a technical/vocational school, an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
- Intermediate understanding of Privileged Access Management and an Enterprise credential vault application required.
- Performs most work independently with general supervision and direction.
- May consult with management or more senior staff in decision making.
- 3 years of experience preferred with an enterprise level vault system support team.
