Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for APIs, system integrations, and connectivity solutions.
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, API behavior definitions, and service interaction diagrams.
- Review upstream and downstream system relationships to identify business impacts, dependencies, and integration risks.
- Partner with architects and developers to refine technical solutions and ensure alignment with enterprise integration standards.
- Work with product managers, engineering leads, and subject matter experts to define the project’s scope, priorities, sequencing, and delivery readiness.
- Ensure API and integration requirements align with security, compliance, data governance, and resilience standards.
- Lead workshops with business users, vendors, and technical teams to support collaboration and decision-making.
- Provided support for backlog creation, sprint planning, estimation sessions, and overall Agile delivery activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and full traceability throughout the integration and development lifecycle.
- Coordinate assumptions, risks, dependencies, and cross-team impacts related to API and connectivity work.
- Help ensure requirements are complete, testable, and clearly handed off to development teams.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate delivery against business and technical expectations.
- Monitor project progress, resolve requirement-related issues, and maintain alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting API, integration, or service-based delivery projects.
- Extensive experience working with engineering, architecture, and product teams to define API and integration requirements.
- Hands-on experience with API design concepts, technical specifications, sequence flows, and service interaction models.
- Experience analyzing integrations across multiple systems, platforms, or business units.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of security, data governance, compliance, and operational resilience within integration environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments with changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Azure API Management, middleware platforms, or enterprise integration tools.
