Requirements of the Receptionist / Customer Support Agent:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist, office management, or administrative support role.
- Prior customer service or support experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Zendesk or similar CRM/ticketing platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident using modern office technology and software tools.
- Positive, ambitious attitude and a desire to grow within the company.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed (e.g., restocking supplies or handling packages).
Responsibilities of the Receptionist / Customer Support Agent:
Front Desk & Office Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors—warmly greet guests, assist with check-in, and offer water or coffee to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Manage incoming calls and general inquiries, routing them appropriately or assisting directly when possible.
- Handle daily mail and packages, generate shipping labels, and coordinate outgoing shipments.
- Support office operations by maintaining supplies, organizing communal areas, and coordinating minor repairs or maintenance.
- Help plan light office events such as monthly birthday celebrations or team perks.
Customer Support
- Provide high-level customer support via phone, email, and online chat.
- Assist with online and retail partner order inquiries, product troubleshooting, and returns or replacements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records using Zendesk or a similar CRM system.
- Proactively resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen brand loyalty.
Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm
