Procurement Supervisor

Procurement Supervisor in an International Trading Company. The position primarily assists with daily procurement operations, supervises staff, prioritizes workflow and schedules, and resolves escalated customer issues to ensure efficient operations and high service standards.

• Location: West Hartford, CT
• Direct Hire (7 hours/day)
• $68K (Non-Exempt) with full benefits

Requirements of the Procurement Supervisor:

• Minimum of 3 years of Purchasing/Procurement experience
• Associate’s degree preferred, but not mandatory
• Prior experience in the aviation or aviation-related industry is a plus, though not required
• Leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable

Responsibilities of the Procurement Supervisor:

• Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints
• Assist with daily operations, staff supervision, and workflow management
• Train sales staff and support sales incentive programs
• Assist with staff development and achievement of sales targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Support operational efficiency and recommend process improvements
• Source and purchase merchandise from the best suppliers
• Provide professional customer service and resolve order issues
• Prioritize daily workloads and urgent projects
• Perform Senior Buyer duties as needed
• Other related duties will be assigned

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
