Production Lead 2nd shift

An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a second-shift Production Lead who will help the production manager.

• $25/hr. Plus full benefits
• 2nd shift

            Monday – Thursday and Sunday 01:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Training during the first 30 days will take place Monday–Friday

• Somerset, NJ

Requirements of the Production Lead 2nd shift:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred)
• OSHA 10 certification
• Experience using an ERP system (NetSuite or SAP is a plus)
• Familiar with production equipment and manufacturing processes
• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP and SQF
• Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)

Responsibilities of the Production Lead 2nd shift:

• Assist the Production Manager and report production issues
• Oversee daily production activities and employees
• Ensure safety and food safety procedures are followed
• Enter and maintain production data in NetSuite and other systems
• Supervise Production Leaders and support employee training
• Monitor production output, losses, and cleanliness
• Start up and shut down production lines
• Ensure production schedules are completed to meet customer orders
