Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cosmetology Teacher to join our team during day hours. In this role, you will deliver high-quality instruction, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, to equip students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in cosmetology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and state regulations
• Provide demonstrations and practical training in a range of cosmetology services including hair cutting, coloring, styling, skincare, and nail care
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and support
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant classroom and salon environment
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, and curriculum development initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure relevant educational delivery

Requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Cosmetology State Teacher License required
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in the cosmetology industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage students
• Passion for teaching and fostering student success

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
