We are looking for someone to coordinate numerous activities that support our business. Responsible for picking, staging, loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing product or freight. Inventory transactions and other system related duties. Perform physical inventory and maintain inventory accuracy. Must be organized and pay strict attention to detail.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm with overtime as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Able to safely operate forklifts, motorized pallet jacks and other heavy equipment by passing training segments and certifications associated with each unit. Must have extensive fork truck skills, with specific experience loading and unloading tractor trailers.
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries with carriers and outside warehouse.
- Interact with and support other departments, staging material for work in process and supporting production schedule.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to interact easily with others and to work independently.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Must have good attendance and history of acceptable work performance and be able to perform the essential functions of the job in a satisfactory manner.
- To safely operate equipment, a basic mechanical ability is required to perform equipment checks and document findings in inspections sheets.
- Ability to use basic hand tools for functions of the job.
Skill & Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to work 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, possibly up to 12 hours.
Education & Experience required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some computer skills required
- Forklift certified
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
