What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Trico Office Interiors?
Sales Manager | TriCo Office Interiors | Bellingham, WA
Build Relationships. Create Inspiring Workspaces. Grow with Us.
TriCo Office Interiors has been helping businesses create exceptional work environments for more than 70 years. As a locally owned company, we partner with businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, and government agencies throughout Northwest Washington to create spaces that are functional, beautiful, and built to last.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, and helping businesses succeed. Whether you have years of sales experience or simply have a natural ability to build relationships and strong business instincts, we'd love to meet you.
If you're motivated, personable, and excited by the opportunity to grow a business, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
You'll spend your time getting to know local businesses, learning about their goals, and helping them create workspaces that support their teams. No two projects are the same, which means every day brings new people, new ideas, and new opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with new and existing clients throughout Northwest Washington.
- Learning about each client's business and recommending thoughtful workspace solutions.
- Networking within the local business community to develop new opportunities.
- Collaborating with our design and installation teams to deliver exceptional projects.
- Preparing proposals and guiding clients through the sales process.
- Following projects from the initial conversation through installation.
- Providing outstanding customer service that creates long term partnerships.
What Makes Someone Successful Here?
We're less concerned with finding someone who has sold office furniture before and more interested in finding someone who is eager to learn and enjoys working with people.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy meeting new people and building lasting relationships.
- Are naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions.
- Have confidence speaking with business owners and decision makers.
- Are organized and follow through on commitments.
- Take pride in providing exceptional customer service.
- Like solving problems and thinking creatively.
- Are motivated by goals and enjoy seeing your efforts turn into results.
Experience in sales, customer service, business development, project management, commercial interiors, construction, real estate, hospitality, banking, or other relationship focused industries is certainly valuable, but it isn't required. If you're driven, professional, and willing to learn, we encourage you to apply.
