Responsibilities
- Operate powder coating equipment, including airless paint spraying systems, ensuring even and durable finishes on metal parts.
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sandblasting, or masking using hand tools and power tools.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, cranes, or other materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with fabrication tasks such as cutting, welding, assembly, or machining to support production needs.
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments and ensure coatings meet specified standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols related to industrial painting, auto body repair, and general manufacturing practices.
- Support warehouse operations by managing inventory, handling materials with care, and assisting with shipping or receiving tasks as needed.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, machining, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with industrial painting methods including auto painting, auto body repair, and airless paint spraying.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction.
- Warehouse experience involving materials handling, inventory management, and use of precision measuring instruments.
