Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Travel Respiratory Therapist (Travel RRT), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care across diverse inpatient and outpatient settings. This exciting position offers the opportunity to work in a variety of hospitals, including Level I and Level II trauma centers, pediatric units, and critical care environments. As a Travel RRT, you will bring your expertise in respiratory therapy to support patients with complex needs, ensuring safe and effective airway management, ventilator support, and comprehensive patient assessments. Duties

• Provide advanced respiratory therapy services to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions across hospital departments such as ICU, PICU, emergency rooms, and clinics.
• Manage ventilator systems, perform airway management procedures, and assist with intubations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, analyzing physiology data, and evaluating respiratory function to inform treatment plans.
• Administer medications related to respiratory care while adhering to hospital protocols and medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, and pulmonologists—to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, vital signs, medication administration, and patient responses in compliance with hospital policies.
• Support emergency interventions in high-pressure situations such as trauma or cardiac events by utilizing your expertise in airway management and critical care procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospital medicine with a focus on emergency medicine, critical care, or pulmonology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in airway management techniques and ventilator troubleshooting within inpatient or ICU settings.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, vital signs interpretation, and medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy.
• Prior experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly preferred; clinic or outpatient experience is a plus.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from an accredited organization is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
• Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric patient care enhances your ability to adapt therapies across age groups.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills within multidisciplinary teams. Pay: $2,664.00 - $2,880.00 per week
