TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey’s premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 400 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Diagnoses and repairs on our fleet of vehicles including but not limited to:
- General and preventative maintenance
- Brakes, drivability, emissions, steering and suspension.
- Electrical troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Transmission removal and replacement.
- Engine tear town and/or removal and replacement when necessary.
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying signs of wear and parts that require service or replacement.
- Repair or schedule necessary repairs with the Fleet Manager.
- Log all repairs/ service in our work order system.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
- Work collaboratively with our Fleet Manager as well as our Operation Managers to ensure safe transportation for our patients as well as our drivers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Knowledge and experience with Ford E Series, Ford Transit, Dodge Caravans.
- Must have own tools
- Driver License
- ASE certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of documented mechanic experience on light, medium, and heavy equipment
- Satisfactory driving history / Clean driving record.
- Background check.
- Negative Drug Test required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Some holidays may be required.
