Corporate Tax Accountant

We accomplish this by supplying pre-plant soil fumigation material and application, crop health and nutrition analysis, post-harvest fumigation, irrigation, fertigation, and agricultural equipment to growers in over 30 countries

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare Quarterly and Extension Tax Payment Workpapers
• Review Fixed Asset Schedules for State and Federal Depreciation
• Prepare Annual Business Personal Property Tax Filings
• Prepare Quarterly Excise Tax Filings
• Research Federal, State and Local Tax Issues
• Submit State and Local Tax Registrations
• Assist with Tax Planning in order to ensure tax efficiencies and promote organization growth
• Assist Third Party with Annual Report Filings
• Respond to State and Federal Tax Notices
• Review the sales tax compliance process on the main operating entities
• Assist with oversight on foreign tax compliance by external accountants

Requirements

• 4-year Accounting Degree
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• 3 - 5 years in indirect and/or direct tax
• Working Knowledge of Applicable Tax Law and Regulations
• Intermediate Skills in MS Office Programs (Excel and Word)
• Ability to work in a team environment

Job Type:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM – 5PM
• Job is in person five days per week with the ability to work remotely as needed
