Responsibilities: Enthusiastically lead the plants in Lean, Continuous improvement, and 5s to reduce waste and improve the plants productivity accordingly Participates in new process development and planning by researching the cost and ability to execute the plan. Support the development of new SOP’s focused on cost savings and increasing efficiency Ensure all involved parties are included and trained on all new processes and changes Identify all areas of process improvement and define the strategies to implement the changes Prepare, coordinate and facilitate problem-solving activities, within a context of continuous improvement. Adhere strictly to standards of quality, OHS and controls established by the CFIA , HACCP and the WSIB/CSST Quantify project benefits, execute the project and achieve result Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system, other 3rd party audits, or customer audits. Support the production of documents Ensures that all other local, provincial and country laws and regulations are adhered to Effective implementation and adherence to company’s Food Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures including but not limited to SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure food safety and quality of products manufactured. To support the shop floor in the scale up, feasibility, registration, validation and first commercial production To take part and lead continuous improvement teams Generate and analyze KPI reports to identify improvement opportunities on production lines Develop SOPs ( Standard Operational Procedure), OPLs ( One Point Lesson), and Centerlines At C.H.
