Overview:Tribe Tea Lounge seeks a high-performing Kava Tender with strong sales and bartending experience. This role goes beyond serving drinks. You serve as the public face of Tribe Tea Lounge both inside the lounge and across social channels. Your success ties directly to repeat customers, community engagement, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch customer service that creates repeat guests and strong word-of-mouth
- Prepare and serve kava, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and confidence
- Build personal relationships with customers and grow a regular customer base
- Actively promote Tribe Tea Lounge through social media, events, and community outreach
- Create and post social content to build a personal following tied to the brand
- Drive in-store sales through recommendations, education, and upselling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lounge environment
- Handle cash and POS transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs proactively
- Support lounge operations during high-volume periods with focus and urgency
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven bartending or cafe experience with a strong sales track record
- Demonstrated ability to build a customer following or community
- High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Social media confidence with willingness to promote the lounge consistently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts
