Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and other structures.
- Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely attached and functioning properly.
- Conduct electrical work related to solar panel installation, adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Troubleshoot low voltage electrical issues that may arise during or after installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, electrical work, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with plumb techniques and fixture installation is a plus.
- Ability to work at heights on roofs safely and effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to solar installation tasks.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and their applications in solar energy installations.
