Job Summary:

As a Territory Manager at Tribal Diagnostics, you will assume a leadership role in the sales organization, overseeing Account Managers in your territory. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategies within your designated territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and the growth of our client base.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Account Managers to ensure they meet their sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive territory plans, including targeting new business opportunities and optimizing revenue from existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients within the territory, including healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on market trends, client needs, and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, track progress toward goals, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to Account Managers to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Lead negotiations with high-value clients, including contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and service level discussions
  • Successfully participates in and supports Tribal Diagnostics' compliance program and initiatives.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of success in medical laboratory sales or a related field.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical laboratory services and the healthcare industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to travel within the designated sales territory to meet with clients, attend meetings, and visit healthcare facilities. This may involve driving, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of presentation materials, product samples, and other sales-related materials, typically not exceeding 25 pounds.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, smartphones, and tablets for presentations and data entry.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to present information clearly and professionally to clients and colleagues.
  • Extended periods of sitting while working at a desk, using a computer, or making phone calls.
  • The ability to work under pressure, handle rejection, and manage the demands of a sales role effectively.

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
