About the Role
This position focuses on processing steel rule-cutting, bending, notching, and preparing rule segments used to build precision cutting dies. If you enjoy machine work that requires accuracy, tight tolerances, and consistency, this is a strong fit.
What You'll Do

Set up and operate rule bending/processing equipment according to job tickets and CAD layouts

Load steel rule, run bending/notching operations, and verify accuracy before release

Measure and inspect output to ensure bends, angles, and lengths meet specifications

Adjust settings and troubleshoot process issues to maintain quality and minimize waste

Maintain logs, counts, and quality checks in the system

Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and ready

Work closely with Die Makers and production teammates to prioritize and meet schedules

Support cross-training and assist on other equipment when needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area (PPE required)
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior machine operation experience in manufacturing preferred (die making/printing/packaging/converting is a plus)

Ability to read job tickets, CAD images, and basic blueprints

Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail

Basic math and measuring skills (tape measure, tolerances, counts)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with deadlines

Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality and safety
Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Salary : $19 - $24
