Role Description Two full-time, on-site Commercial Lines Account Manager roles one is based in Rocky Mount, NC and the second in Wake Forest, NC. The Account Managers will oversee a portfolio of commercial clients, managing day-to-day servicing including policy changes, renewals, certificates of insurance, and coverage inquiries. Responsibilities include reviewing and explaining commercial lines coverage, preparing proposals, assisting with claims, and coordinating with carriers to resolve issues promptly. The role involves proactive client communication to ensure retention, identify coverage gaps, and support risk management strategies tailored to each business. The Account Manager will collaborate with producers and internal teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience and support agency growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Commercial Lines Coverage and Insurance, with the ability to analyze policies and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated Account Management skills, including handling renewals, policy changes, and client portfolios effectively.
- Excellent Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on clear communication, responsiveness, and relationship building.
- Understanding of Employee Benefits and related insurance products, or willingness to learn these lines as needed.
- Relevant experience in an insurance agency or commercial lines environment; property and casualty license (or ability to obtain) preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Competence with agency management systems and standard office software; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork, with a commitment to supporting clients and colleagues.
