What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Screed Operator / Lute Man position at Triangle Asphalt Paving Corp.?
We are currently seeking an asphalt screed operator to begin work with our company for this asphalt construction season. This is a Full-Time position, which is seasonal (10 months of the year) and weather dependent. A successful applicant will be able to work outside on an asphalt crew, will be able to lift moderately heavy loads and handle a shovel/lute/various tools as required. The applicant will need to be experienced running the back of an asphalt paver, with preferred experience on a CAT or Vogele paver. Must be able to utilize the electronics available on these machines, as well as have the ability to Lute as needed. Ability to grow into greater positions available with experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate the back of an Asphalt Paver, specifically a CAT AP655f or a Vogele 1703
- Must have the ability to Lute as needed on various projects
- Ability to commute to Lebanon, IN daily for work
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50 pounds)
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Willingness to Listen and adapt to new company initiatives
- Must possess a valid Drivers License, be authorized to work in the US and can pass a drug screen
Preferred:
- Machine operation experience (including skid steer, roller, paver, etc)
- A CDL license is a bonus
