What you’ll do
- Operate heavy equipment such as pavers, skid-steers, graders and rollers to perform asphalt paving and related tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and best practices at all times.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress for reporting purposes.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as asphalt paver and or roller operator
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with commercial vehicle operation and commercial driving regulations.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous work experience on construction sites with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Knowledge of safety standards in construction environments.
