- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills in pediatric clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address developmental delays, sensory integration challenges, or physical impairments
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s progress and goals
- Provide therapy sessions in clinic, school, or telehealth settings, as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Educate families on strategies to promote skill development and independence at home and in community settings
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy and comply with state and federal regulations
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric populations (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families
- Knowledge of sensory integration, developmental milestones, and pediatric rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
