About Triadelphia Veterinary Clinic:
We are a busy, AAHA-accredited animal hospital seeking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our team. Founded in 2006 by three dedicated veterinarians, Triadelphia Veterinary Clinic was built on the commitment to provide excellent and compassionate care for both clients and their pets. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving practice with around 30 employees and recently welcomed a fourth doctor to our team. If you’re a self-motivated, reliable individual with strong customer service skills and veterinary experience, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors and technicians with animal restraint, radiography, vaccine protocol, medical history, and other tasks.
- Communicate professionally and constructively with clients and coworkers, problem solving along the way.
- Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment.
- Process payments, manage charges, and navigate medical records.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of veterinary and/or customer service experience (veterinary experience is preferred, but we are open to training for the right candidate).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts, including evenings and Saturdays (we are closed on Sundays and major holidays).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment taking initiative to get done any task needing completed.
- Reliable, prompt, and committed to providing excellent client and patient care.
