Easton Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate full-time or part-time veterinary assistant to join our busy growing hospital. We are looking for a hard-working, energetic individual to be a part of our family. Candidates must be detail-oriented, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and reliability are a must!
We encourage a healthy working environment with ample training and opportunities for growth. In this position, you will work with our doctors, veterinary nurses, and assistants while learning the daily routines of the hospital and the medicine involved in animal care. At Easton Vet Clinic, we take pride in supporting and training team members to foster a healthy work/learning environment.
Our recently renovated and expanded hospital has state of the art diagnostics and equipment including: surgical laser, endoscopy, ultrasonography and echocardiography, digital radiography, dental radiography, in-house labs, canine rehabilitation and laser therapy, and much more!

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients, including monitoring vitals, assisting with examinations, and performing basic clinical tasks under supervision.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures, administer medications as prescribed, and assist with IV insertions and catheterizations when needed.
- Maintain clean and sterile environments, perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and equipment sterilization, and adhere to PPE protocols.
- Manage front desk tasks when required, including scheduling, record-keeping, and communicating with clients about care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and assist with basic laboratory duties and sample handling as appropriate.
