HVAC TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at Flatiron Crossings Mall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout the facility. The HVAC Technician will ensure that our retail environment remains comfortable for both customers and staff while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Pay range is $30/hour to $33/hour depending on experience. On-call may be required outside of regularly scheduled hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and refrigeration systems.- Respond promptly to HVAC service requests and emergencies, prioritizing customer and tenant satisfaction.- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.- Collaborate with the facility management team to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives.- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.- Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems and upgrades as needed.- Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies to enhance skills and service delivery.Competency:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Attendance/Punctuality- Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on timeDependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate planSafety and Security- Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properlyQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
